get busy...

The school year is winding down and I have been really busy, so I haven't had much time to blog. So here's a brief update on my NYC trip...

  • Erykah Badu's live show is the shit. She's pretty funny too.
  • The pizza in Times Square was incredible
  • L.E.S is loaded with white people that all look alike and ride really old bikes.
  • 6 hour bus ride to NYC!! sucked!
  • I missed The Roots performance because of that six hour bus ride.
  • Met Mos Def at the after party.
  • My camera got wet and now the damn buttons don't work!
  • I got to see my crush --- the lovely miss Vashtie
  • Ran into an old friend from high school...really random
  • Met a bartender in Harlem that was from my hometown, Charleston SC...it's a really small world
Overall the trip was a lot of fun. I'm still pissed that I missed The Roots performance!

    You liked the pizza? I don't like NYC's pizza as much as Chicago's! You gotta try Chicago's pizza, it's the best!

    I would have been pissed if I missed the Roots show. I seen them once and I promise that was best show I seen. There is nothing better than hip hop with a live band.

    I'm glad you had fun in NY! I had a ball when I went. Aww thats sucks you missed the roots but I'm sure Erykah more then made up for that:-)

    yea, i hear she puts on a great show & the roots are pretty good too...6 hr bus ride? i would've died, i can barely do 3 1/2

    Strange that you have such great taste in music, I'm from Charleston too, originally from NY...I guess Charleston spits us out randomly with the ability to listen to music that doesn't say shake ya ass as both the chorus and the verse...
