
So just the other day I said seeing Mos Def perform live was one of the things I wanted to do before I die. Now I don't know if I should take this as a sign of my untimely demise, but....guess who is coming to DC on Sept. 21??!! Yessir!! The Mighty Mos Def will be performing at the historic Kennedy Center. So yeah I will definitely be in the building.

ReplyDeleteI've heard that Mos Def has a great live show. Like you, I've never seen him nor the Roots perform live. I always seem to miss em. Enjoy the show, bruh. Maybe I'll catch the Mighty Mos when he comes to the ATL.

ReplyDeletei got the little kennedy center pamphlet in the mail the other day listing all of the artists that are coming to town and when i saw mos in there i fuckin' flipped. i am truly hoping that i get to see him. there are alot of jazz concerts, well concerts in general coming there this coming up season so we shall see.

ReplyDeletewow he came to detroit (well, ann arbor) for a j dilla tribute but i was 40 dollars i was like hell naw. i saw the whole rawkus lineup for 10 dollars that was including mos, pharoahe, common, talib, and a whole bunch of other people. but enjoy!!!!
