I should probably quit frontin'. I don't want a girl but I need a girl. When I was with the ex, I ate proper meals, I saved lots of money, my bills were paid months in advance and life just seemed simpler. Now, it feels like the single life is taking its toll on me. I don't eat properly, I spend way too much money on the weekends, and I forget everything. I enjoy the freedom of the single life but I need the structure of a relationship. I basically need a personal assistant, and I guess that probably isn't a good selling point. lol
"It's cheaper to keep her"
You had a good girlfriend/personal assistant.
ReplyDeleteI guess that saying is true in alot of perspectives!!
ReplyDeleteit takes a lot of courage to admit that....
ReplyDeleteYou never realize what you have until it's gone. :)
ReplyDeleteI beleive that is a Tank song. Personal Assistant ...
ReplyDeletewow, i just stumbled across your blog and i'm already a huge fan! i'm definitely adding you to the blog roll!
ReplyDeleteit looks like you're in DC. . . i actually live in columbia heights. where do you teach?
lol yea the personal assistant bit isnt a good selling point. Im glad you see how much you appreciated your last relationship. take care of yourself tho..single or not.
ReplyDeleteu might not wanna tell the next chick that tho ok?
ReplyDeletein a married situation it is cheaper to keep her but not when there is no papers involved.
ReplyDeletedon't settle though just to be in a relationship
bwahahahahaha!
ReplyDeletethat has some great insight and it is priceless that you were so honest about it... but maybe building those skills within yourself was the whole point of this 'single' life thing.... just a thought *slow smile*
I just had this convo with a friend the other day...I told him it will be okay. It's time to shift your focus and get yourself to the point where you CAN function on your own. You can want something so bad that you settle for that chick that isn't and won't ever be worth the time. I agree with Mr. Cinque Powell...and I know plenty of females that prey on guys like you. It's sad but true...
ReplyDeleteSo go out- if you need a few suggestions in MD/DC let me know...have fun, make friends with your friends again (trust me, it's necessary...) and just relax. That special person won't be wherever you're looking. She's usually somewhere you're not looking.
