free...

It's over. I am officially relieved of my duties as a history teacher for the 07-08 school year!! My first year went off without me choking a kid out so I'm pretty happy about that. Even though I admit I came pretty close to losing my cool. Those kids will drive you crazy! But I'm actually proud of myself for completing the year. Now all my hard work pays off as I get to spend the next 2 1/2 months sleeping in and enjoying this wonderful DC weather. Maybe teaching isn't so bad after all.

  2. i think thats the best thing about teachers. They get summers off! no fair:-( I know kids are tiring tho so im sure this break is well deserved lol. I hope you are enjoying the start of summer:-)

  3. I want a job like that...having summers off. But I don't want to teach though...you're much better than me with that one. I appreciate all teachers...I guess that stems from my mom being a teacher...

    well i hope that you do get to enjoy all that dc has to offer cause there is plenty to do. live it up man!

  5. AWW CONGRATS!!!

    It's crazy because I wanted to be a US history teacher... still do,but I don't think I have enough patience to deal wih high school kids. I will go CRAZY!! lol

    I wish I had a 2 1/2 summer break!!!! :(

  7. man i want to eventually be in your shoes as a teacher. thats one of my biggest dreams is teaching kids! well we need more men like you out there teaching the youth i take my hat off to you brother!
